This development confirms earlier reports claims that the Serbian Coach was fired some days ago.
The fresh announcement was made by the GFA in a statement on its official Twitter handle saying, “The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association has decided to part ways with Black Stars coach Milovan Rajevac.
This follows the receipt of the Technical Report from the Coach, the Medical Report and the Report from the Management Committee following Ghana’s early exit from the Africa Cup of Nations Cameroon 2021 tournament.
“The Association would like to thank Milovan Rajevac and the Management Committee the very best in their future endeavours.”
The GFA says it will soon announce the reconstituted Technical Team and Management Committee after due engagement with all relevant stakeholders.
On January 21, 2022, the Sports Ministry called for an emergency meeting to discuss the performance of Ghana Black Stars with the GFA.

The sports ministry through a press statement made it clear to the GFA that the people of Ghana have lost confidence in the capacity of the current technical team of the Black Stars to deliver success.
The National team was evicted at the Group stages with one point after a 3-2 defeat to Comoros.This is the first time since 2006 that the Black Stars have been evicted from the AFCON in the group stages.
The Black Stars will have a match with the Super Eagles of Nigeria prior to the upcoming FIFA World Cup in March.
