Some disappointed fans who spoke to the Sports press shared their views on the performance of the Black Stars.
Mr Kofi Nimo, a Barber, said it was difficult to come to terms with the Black Stars’ exit from the AFCON at the group stages.
He stated that if someone had told him before the commencement of the competition that the Black Stars would not qualify to the next stage after the group matches, he wouldn’t have believed it.
Mr Nimo, however, noted that Ghana could have done better with a better coach.
According to him, their inability to train enough to blend with the playing style of others was sad.
He said the GFA should have intensified their engagements with the foreign-based players earlier for their early release to train ahead for the competition.
Madam Aku Ameyaw, a trader said she had to close her shop earlier to watch the Black Stars match, only to be defeated by a country like Comoros.
She said perhaps the Black Stars underestimated the Coelacanths, hence the defeat.
