DCE donates desks to Education Directorate in Upper Denkyira West District

Mr Richmond Koduah, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Upper Denkyira West Assembly (UDWA), has presented more than 200 mono desks and chairs to the Education Directorate.

The desks is to be distributed to Junior High Schools within the district to help improve education for the betterment of pupils.

Mr Koduah in an interview with the expressed the hope that the presentation would help in the provision of quality education to the young ones, serving as the basis for development.”

“To develop UDW, we need to prioritize the education of the young ones,” he said.

The DCE pledged to do its best to bridge the infrastructure gap and other challenges of quality education delivery in the district.

Mr Koduah explained that the focus of the Assembly was to champion effective education delivery to ensure the students and had a conducive environment and atmosphere to learn and teach.

He pledged to assist the Education Directorate with teaching and learning materials to aid educational excellence in the district.

Mr Frank Kow Hayford, the District Director of Education, expressed gratitude to the DCE and Assembly for the kind gesture and pledged to support the process of improving education in the area.
