Accra, Ghana – President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has announced the appointment of new ministers and deputies on Tuesday, July 25. The appointments were made in consultation with the Ministers for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, and Roads and Highways.
The President appointed Hon. Mavis Nkansah Boadu, Deputy Minister for Roads and Highways and Member of Parliament for Afigya Sekyere East, as Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration. He also appointed Hon.
Thomas Mbomba, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration and Member of Parliament for Tatale/Sanguli, as Deputy Minister for Roads and Highways.
Additionally, Hon. Freda Prempeh, Minister of State at the Presidency and Member of Parliament for Tano North has been appointed as the new Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources, succeeding Hon. Cecilia Abena Dapaah, who resigned from the position.
