Ghana to face Egypt in Beach Soccer AFCON qualifiers

Ghana’s Black Sharks will lock horns with Egypt in the qualifiers of this year’s Beach Soccer African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Mozambique as they seek to join seven other countries in the final tournament. 

In all 14 teams would battle each other in two legs to book a slot in the AFCON tournament.

The first leg of the qualifiers would begin on the 22-24 July this year, with the second leg also set to take place from 5-7 August 2022.

After being paired with Uganda, Ghana withdrew from the last edition of the AFCON qualifiers due to some challenges they encountered.

The side would be looking forward to beating Egypt and sailing through the tournament which would come off later this year.

The 2022 Beach Soccer African Cup of Nations (AFCON) would come off in Mozambique from October 21-30, 2022.
