The men's football team of the Ghana News Agency (GNA) won silver at the maiden edition of the Inter-media House Sports and Health Festival.
The two-day festival, held at the Madina Zongo Astro Turf, witnessed numerous media houses compete for laurels in the football competition.
The GNA football team sailed through to the semi-finals of the competition, where they defeated XYZ Broadcasting Company 2-1 to reach the finals.
The finals were keenly contested final as GH-One TV narrowly edged GNA 1-0 to win the coveted trophy.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the games, Mr Albert Kwabena Dwumfour, President of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA), said the games were a good initiative to help foster harmonious relations among journalists.
He said the GJA would, in the future, partner with the Journalists Network for Peace and Security to ensure much bigger sports and health festivals.
