The players and Management of Nsoatreman Football Club on Friday received a rousing welcome in Sunyani when the team was returning to their Nsoatre home base after gaining qualification into the Ghana Premier League (GPL) at the expense of Tamale City FC.
It would be recalled that the team on Tuesday beat Tamale City FC 2-1 in their Division One, Zone One match decider at the Accra Sports to book qualification to the GPL.
The players, the technical team and management members on an open long truck were led by enthusiastic supporters on motorbikes, private saloon cars and commercial vehicles through the Sunyani main street amidst brass band music and tooting of horns of vehicles and motorbikes towards Nsoatre in the Sunyani West Municipality.
A great number of Sunyani football fans who did not want to be left out of the celebrations came out of their offices and shops to cheer the premier league debutants on for their impressive show of victory.
