An independent supporter for the Ghana National Teams, Mr Abraham Boakye popularly known as, ‘One-man supporter’ has vowed to demonstrate against the President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt E. S Okraku.
Speaking of Peace FM’s flagship program, peace sports review on Thursday monitored by the Ghanaian Standard, the independent supporter for the black Stars alleged that, Mr Kurt Okraku has immensely caused financial loss to the state by sending a player from his agency into the black stars camp and simultaneously allowed the player, Philemon Baffour to travel to Portugal for justifying session.
“Kurt Okraku has downgraded the level of Ghana Football, he claimed that he has five teams but haven’t developed 100 x 100 football pitch as a way of improving football for the teams if not for the nation at large,” he said.
In terms of sponsorship, in the course of his campaign categorically promised that sponsorships for the local league will not be a problem but unfortunately, in the two seasons the league has been played with sponsorship, where are the sponsorship packages? He quizzed.
Mr Boakye emphatically stated that he has scheduled a meeting with the Inspector-General of Police in order to secure permission to stage a demonstration against the Ghana Football Association President to compels him to resign.
“ I have a meeting with IGP, Dr Dampare this afternoon and I am going to secure permission to stage a massive demonstration against Kurt Okraku and the Ghana Football Association. Yes, I will make sure it will happen in association with the unions” he added.
Mr Abraham Boakye has been an independent supporter of the Black Stars since childhood and aims to project the image of Ghana Football and the Black Stars.
