Reverend George Shem Kwame Kwadey, the Kadjebi District Pastor of the Church of Pentecost, has advised men not to slumber and make unforgivable mistakes.

He said, “when a man makes mistakes the family suffers”, so they should not sleep to make mistakes.

He said if they slept the enemy would plant bad seeds among their plants on their farms and their crops would be destroyed; adding “be at post always as a man.”

Rev. Kwadey gave the admonition at the Pentecost Men Movement (PEMEM) Week celebration at Kadjebi in the Oti Region.

Reading Genesis 3:9-11, 17, he said Adam made mistake and God cursed the land and his generations.

He asked men not to beat, molest or maltreat their wives, but to love and care for them as commanded by God.

Rev. Kwadey advised them to be faithful to their partners as faithful men brought progress to the house and the family.

He also admonished them to build a strong foundation and secure the family against evil.

The District Pastor also urged the women to humble themselves for their husbands for peace to prevail in the house also advised the congregants to train and mould their children correctly to be responsible adults for themselves and the country.

He offered special prayers for the men to be prosperous and responsible.
