A policewoman, identified as Comfort Freby has been killed at a checkpoint on the Kasoa-Apam highway in the Central Region.
The 29-year-old policewoman is reported to have been hit by a speeding Toyota vehicle with registration number, GS 4746-20 this dawn.
According to the police, the driver failed to stop when he got to the checkpoint and ran into the deceased policewoman killing her on the spot.

Meanwhile, officers of the Central Regional Police Commander have visited the deceased’s home to empathize with her family.
