Alhaji Iddrisu Sulemana, Savannah Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party has called on the citizenry to support the government to repair the economy and boost growth.

He said, “It is the responsibility of all citizens to join hands together to enhance economic growth to raise living standards.”

Alhaji Sulemana made the call in an interview with Ghana News Agency in Tamale.

He urged business leaders in the country to create partnerships with the government to effectively advance economic growth and development.

He stated that the government, with its teams, were working hard to expand public employment services as part of addressing the economic challenges in the country.

He added that the government had started a sustainable growth model to increase investment in citizens’ capacities to address the fiscal crisis.
