How do Ghanaians see the performance of Nana Addo’s Government? Could a tiny Twitter Poll reflect the true feelings of Ghanaians towards the NPP Government’s performance?
In a recent editorial, the Ghanaian Standard conducted an opinion poll in which we asked respondents how they would rate the Government’s performance and we got a total of 164 votes in a 7 days poll. The poll was conducted on Twitter and respondents get to vote between Excellent, Good, Average and Poor.
The question went something like this; As a Ghanaian or someone fairly familiar with Ghana, and being as honest as you can, how would you rate the performance of Ghana’s current Nana Akufo-Addo NPP Government?
The initial days of the poll saw a whooping 85% voting Poor, then some started voting Average and the small portion voted Excellent. In the end, the following table gives the results of the poll;
Performance Rating | Votes | Percentage |
---|---|---|
Excellent | 6 | 3.7 |
Good | 5 | 3.0 |
Average | 24 | 14.6 |
Poor | 129 | 78.7 |
Totals | 164 | 100 |
