Mr Mustapha Ussif the Minister of Youth and Sports, has sworn in as the President of the National Paralympic Committee (NPC) Mr Samson Deen, to serve as a member of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the 2023 African Games to be staged in Accra, Ghana.
He was sworn in at the Minister’s secretariat on Thursday, May 12, where Mr Ussif urged him to support the team to host one of the best Africa Games.
The chairman of the LOC Accra 2023 African Games, Dr Kwaku Ofosu Asare, and Mr Reks Brobby, the Deputy Chief Operating Officer, were present to offer support to the Minister and welcome Mr Deen to the committee.
Mr Deen doubles as the President of the Africa Paralympic Committee.
His expertise in organizing international competitions will come to bear as Ghana prepares to host the rest of Africa next year.
