Residents of Ketu South have credited the prevailing peace in Ghana to the prayers offered by school children, highlighting their role in maintaining stability in the country.
Speaking on the sidelines of the Municipality's Independence Day parade commemorating Ghana's 67th Anniversary, residents emphasized the significance of children's prayers in sustaining peace. They acknowledged the Almighty's role in preserving Ghana's tranquility while also giving credit to young learners who pray for the nation five days a week.
Madam Cynthia Agbodo drew attention to the National Anthem, which invokes blessings upon Ghana, emphasizing the importance of children singing it regularly. She expressed gratitude to God and the children for their prayers, emphasizing that Ghana's peace is not solely due to perfect governance but also by divine grace.
Another resident, identified only as Mawusi, noted the challenges facing the country but emphasized the importance of peace. She attributed Ghana's unity to the prayers of children, citing their recitation of the National Anthem and the Lord's Prayer.
Despite socio-economic challenges and governance issues, residents emphasized the need for leaders to address these issues while appreciating the peace that currently prevails in the country.
