Gladson Awako named Black Galaxies Captain

Annor Walker Head Coach of the local Black Stars, the Black Galaxies, has named Accra Heart of Oak midfielder as Captain of the team.

He would be assisted by Medeama’s Vincent Atingah and Asante Kotoko’ Imoro Ibrahim as the two assistants.

“Earlier today we appointed Gladson Awako as Captain and he will be assisted by Vincent Atingah and Imoro Ibrahim Coach Walker,” a statement from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) quoted Coach Walker.

“I urge all players to give them the necessary support to help us achieve success in our upcoming qualifiers he added.”

The Black Galaxies would take on Benin in the first leg of the CHAN qualifiers on July 24 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
