GIMPA Business School Alumni Network (GiBSAN) pays courtesy visit to GJA President

A delegation comprising staff and alumni of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) Business School honoured Mr Albert Kwabena Dwumfour, President of the (GJA), with a courtesy visit on Tuesday. The visit aimed to recognize Mr. Dwumfour's achievements and officially induct him into the GIMPA Business School Alumni Network (GiBSAN).

Scheduled for launch at 1700 hours on Thursday, March 14, at the GIMPA GB Auditorium, GiBSAN is an initiative aimed at mobilizing students and alumni of the GIMPA Business School to champion effective leadership and excellence.

Professor Ebenezer Adaku, Acting Dean of GIMPA Business School, emphasized the institution's vision to cultivate strong leaders capable of shaping the future of Ghana and the global community. He stressed the pivotal role alumni play in achieving this vision, underscoring the importance of tapping into Mr. Dwumfour's wealth of experience.

Professor Adaku highlighted GiBSAN's objectives, including facilitating mentorship programs, career transition initiatives, and scholarship schemes to support students. He assured Mr Dwumfour of GiBSAN's unwavering support in all his endeavours.

In response, Mr Dwumfour expressed gratitude for the honour bestowed upon him by GIMPA Business School, acknowledging the pivotal role the institution played in his personal and professional development. He pledged to leverage his membership in GiBSAN as an opportunity to give back to the school and contribute to its legacy of excellence.

Mr Dwumfour commended the GIMPA team for conceptualizing GiBSAN and emphasized the potential of the network to become a vibrant platform for alumni engagement and collaboration.

Professor Amin Alhassan, Director-General of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, lauded GIMPA Business School's initiative to mobilize its alumni and encouraged GiBSAN to reignite the institution's legacy of leadership and .

Mr. Gabriel Asante Bosompem, Member of the , applauded the formation of GiBSAN, noting its potential to provide students with invaluable experiential learning opportunities. He expressed confidence in Mr Dwumfour's leadership abilities to steer GiBSAN to greater heights.
