Abuakwa South NPP refutes allegation of galamsey in President’s house garden

The South Constituency Executives of the () have denied allegations that an anonymous Youth Organizer of the in had engaged in near the President's house, affecting parts of the garden of the First Gentleman.

The allegations were made in a document produced and publicized by Professor Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng, former Minister of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, and Chairman of the President's Inter- on (IMCIM).

The executives have described the allegations as part of a grand scheme by Professor Boateng to settle personal scores, smacking of a grand agenda to give opponents undeserving arsenals to throw back at the in the run-up to the .

The executives have also questioned the vagueness of the allegations, as they fall short of indicating what level of party structure the said Youth Organizer occupied at the time of the supposed incident.

Additionally, the executives have stated that if the reference to Kyebi is meant to indicate that the supposed wrongdoing is attributable to a certain Constituency Youth Organizer, then the then Constituency Youth Organizer has never been associated with operation, rendering the allegation short of substance.
