The actress revealed that she used donations from her loved ones to bail some prisoners convicted of some minor offences at the Osu police station.

In an interview on the Restoration with Stacy show, she said, “Whiles at the Osu Police Station, I bailed three people; from the gifts, I was receiving from friends, you can go and ask the boys at the cells. When I was there, I bailed people who had minor cases,  one was Gh¢ 2000 and the other was GHc 1,500.”

“I was using monies that l had received from others to do what I was doing, some were just phone issues. So when they go to court, then I give monies out to the CIDs to bail them.”

Akuapem Poloo also used the platform to thank all her loved ones who supported her with donations when she was serving her jail sentence.

For this reason, the actress was sentenced to three months in prison to serve as a deterrent to the public in April 2021.

Pleas by her lawyer for a non-custodial sentence proved futile until December 2021, when Akuapem Poloo was granted a bail of Ghc12,000 and released from prison.

In the end, it is quite not clear the number of days the controversial actress spent in prison, but she did not complete the entire 90-days jail sentence.
