AGI and Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs sign MoU to boost business opportunities in Volta Region

The (AGI) and the Ghana Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs (GCYE) in the have officially entered into a (MoU) with the goal of enhancing business prospects and opportunities in the region.

The partnership aims to organize and promote trade fair exhibitions that will serve as platforms to showcase the potential and diversity of industries operating within the .

Mr. Emmanuel Zoe-Agbesi, the Volta Regional Chairman of GCYE, explained the objectives of the agreement during an interview with the .

He emphasized that the MoU was designed to establish a framework and partnership between GCYE and AGI, primarily within the region.

The collaboration intends to create opportunities for networking, facilitate business connections, and promote growth and development among members.

Furthermore, Mr Zoe-Agbesi stated, “This MoU also focuses on organizing training programs, workshops, and seminars to equip mentors with essential skills and knowledge to thrive in their respective industries.”

The agreement will also prioritize working together on policy advocacy and representation to address challenges affecting industries in the Volta Region and ensure a conducive business environment.

As part of the terms of the MoU, both parties will appoint representatives responsible for coordinating activities and acting as liaisons between the organizations. Any necessary amendments to the agreement will be made through mutual written agreements.

The MoU was signed by Mr Emmanuel Zoe-Agbesi, Mr Richard Dela Tetteh (Volta Regional Chairman and co-chairman for GCYE), and Mr Dela Gadzanku (AGI Volta, , and Eastern Regional Chairman).

The agreement will take effect upon signing by both parties and will remain in force for at least five years, starting from the date of signing. Renewal of the agreement may occur upon mutual agreement of both parties.

The first initiative under this agreement is the upcoming Volta Trade and Investment Fair scheduled to run from Sunday, November 26 to December 10, serving as a promising platform for businesses and entrepreneurs in the region.
