The Eastwood Anaba Ministries (EAM) has inaugurated the first phase of a multi-purpose facility named ‘Gibeath Ha-Elohim' (Hill of God) in Damolg-Tindongo, Nabdam District, Upper East Region. The facility, constructed for educational, Christian worship, and community development purposes, spans two phases and occupies an 11-acre plot on a hill.
Phase one of the project features an 800-seater air-conditioned auditorium dubbed ‘Naab Naam Tent,' four syndicate rooms, residential accommodation, a baptismal pond with changing rooms, an outdoor event centre, and two gazebos. Phase two, currently under construction, includes a library complex, children's playground, guest accommodation, administrative block, and a clinic facility.
Reverend Eastwood Anaba, President of EAM, and his wife, Reverend Mrs. Rosemond Anaba, initiated the project to honour their late parents and give back to the community. Reverend Anaba emphasized the importance of honouring parents and urged Christians to appreciate their contributions to their lives.
The facility, dedicated to God in a ceremony attended by Pastor Mensa Otabil as the Special Guest of Honour, aims to serve the community by providing meeting spaces for various stakeholders, including the District Assembly, Chiefs, and Ghana Police Service. Additionally, it will offer storage for food and clothing for the less privileged and educational scholarships for needy children in the area.
Reverend Anaba expressed gratitude to supporters and partners of EAM, as well as members and leadership of Fountain Gate Chapel (FGC) and Desert Pastures for their contributions to the project. Pastor Mensa Otabil commended Reverend Anaba's commitment to his roots despite facing challenges, describing him as a man of remembrance, honour, and gratitude.
