Dr. Samuel Twumasi-Ankrah, President of Heritage Christian College, emphasized the importance of good morals and a spiritual foundation for success in a speech at the university's 5th graduation ceremony in Amasaman, Accra.
Dr. Ankrah encouraged students to maintain moral and spiritual principles, emphasizing their enduring impact on personal and professional life.
“As you step into the next chapter of your lives, remember that success built on a solid moral and spiritual foundation is enduring,” Dr. Ankrah stated.
He highlighted the role of faith and commitment to moral principles as a guiding compass for making ethical decisions.
The President urged students to rely on spiritual guidance for strength in facing the challenges of the world, stating, “In times of adversity, let your faith be the anchor that steadies you, enabling you to face challenges with courage, hope, and perseverance.”
Dr. Ankrah also stressed the importance of building meaningful relationships, citing networking as a crucial tool for securing better career opportunities. He advised students to strive for a legacy aligned with the greater good and the glory of God.
“Let your success be a testament to the transformative power of faith and adherence to moral and spiritual principles,” he added.
At the graduation ceremony, 66 students met the requirements for the award of bachelor's degrees in various accredited programs offered by the university.
Dr. Ankrah shared that the university had been approved by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission to run Masters and Bachelor's Degree programs in various disciplines.
He also announced the introduction of a Scholarship Endowment Fund to support brilliant but needy students and highlighted the completion of construction projects, including the Fair Learning Commons and the Fair CEPE Building, aimed at providing an enhanced and conducive environment for teaching, learning, and administration.
