Mr. John Kwabena Bless, the Member of for Nkwanta North constituency, fulfilled his promise by donating a pulpit to the Muslim community during the Eid Al Adha celebration.

The gesture aims to address the community's challenge of using wooden blocks as an improvised pulpit for public events.

On behalf of the MP, Mr Isaiah Kwadjo Dordoe, the Nkwanta North Constituency chairman of the National Democratic Congress (), and several constituency executives presented the pulpit to the Muslim community.

Chief Imam Alhaji Abubakari Gawo received the donation on behalf of the celebrants and expressed gratitude to Mr Bless for keeping his promise.

He emphasized the significance of fulfilling promises made to Allah, noting that failing to do so incurs divine disfavour.

The Chief Imam also commended Mr Abubakar Alhassan, the Zongo Caucus Coordinator, for serving as an effective liaison between the Muslim community and the in Nkwanta North.

He urged others to follow the MP's example and generously support the less fortunate, highlighting the blessings inherent in giving.

Assuring the MP's delegation, the Chief Imam pledged that the donated pulpit would be used for its intended purpose within the community.
