Renowned Ghanaian musician Okyeame Kwame, also known as Kwame Nsiah Apau, has emphatically reaffirmed his non-partisan and apolitical stance in a statement released on February 24, 2024, amid speculations regarding his involvement in a campaign committee.

Okyeame Kwame clarified that he has not been paid by H.E. The Vice President's campaign team to be a member of the committee for the arts and tourism manifesto. Additionally, he emphasized that he has not officially been invited on his terms as a non-partisan participant.

Expressing gratitude in utmost humility, Okyeame Kwame acknowledged the Vice President's Campaign Team for considering his experience and intellect worthy enough for consideration. However, he highlighted that his commitment to contributing policy opinions toward the advancement of the Arts and Culture in Ghana is open to all political or ideological persuasions, including , , , Independent, or others seeking his knowledge.

“I remain the consummate professional you have known for 26 years and counting. I have pledged myself to the service of Ghana, in all fields of my competence, with all my strength and with all my heart,” Okyeame Kwame affirmed in the statement.

He concluded by welcoming all who sincerely seek his input, maintaining his non-partisan stance with the hashtag #MadeInGhana4Life.
