Pastor granted bail over alleged damage and theft charges: Ghana News

Pastor Daniel Attey Tetteh has been granted a GH₵10,000.00 bail by an after being charged with damaging a wooden shed, a Kia Bongo pickup's windscreen, and side mirrors, belonging to a mechanic.

Additionally, he faces accusations of stealing items including a diagnostic machine, a gas cylinder, and a set of tools.

Tetteh, denying the charges, refuted causing unlawful damage and pleaded not guilty to theft during his appearance before the court.

The alleged incidents occurred on August 26, 2023, where Tetteh is said to have dismantled the complainant's shed, causing damage to a client's vehicle in the process, and making off with the diagnostic machine, gas cylinder, and tools.

The complainant, Prince Tetteh, a mechanic residing in Teshie Tsuibleo, reported the incident, leading to the arrest of Pastor Daniel Attey Tetteh.

The prosecution informed the court that Tetteh claimed he only cleared the land in his cautioned statement.

The accused will make his next appearance on January 22, 2024, and is required to produce a surety before his bail can be executed.

The charges against Pastor Tetteh involve damages valued at GH₵12,150.00 and theft of items totaling GH₵4,050.00.
