The of Ghana (PCG) has officially commissioned a 40-room hospitality centre at the Ramseyer Training Centre in -Abetifi, .

The initiative aims to diversify 's revenue streams and provide additional funds for its operations.

The commissioning of the facility coincides with the ongoing 23rd General Assembly of , themed “Jesus Christ, the Alpha and Omega,” which includes the election of a new moderator.

Right Reverend Professor Joseph Obiri Yeboah Mante, the Moderator of the General Assembly, PGC, emphasized the significance of the hospitality centre in providing the Church with alternative sources of income.

The facility, comprising 31 standard rooms, one suite, two family rooms, a conference room, and a restaurant, is expected to operate like a hotel with a Christian touch, catering to retreats, conferences, and family gatherings.

Rt. Rev. Prof J.O.Y Mante highlighted the Church's financial plan, where congregations contribute to the Church's income, enabling projects like the hospitality centre to be partly funded from internal resources and bank loans.

Dr Stephen Saforo Yirenkyi, Chairman of the Project and Investment Committee of the Church, outlined plans for future expansion, aiming to transform the facility into a 100-room multipurpose building to meet growing demand.

Mr. Simon Sawer Tetteh, Managing Director of Sawer-Nanor and Sons Company Limited, the contractors of the facility, commended the Church for its initiative, emphasizing the importance of churches investing in commercially viable ventures to create job opportunities for the youth.

The newly commissioned hospitality centre, built in accordance with architectural designs, not only enhances the significance of the Ramseyer Training Centre but also prioritizes sustainability and accessibility for all users, including the disabled.

With its strategic positioning offering a picturesque view, occupants are set to enjoy both comfort and a unique experience at one of Ghana's highest habitable places.
