Western North Regional Peace Council urges political parties to prioritize peace for 2024 elections: Ghana News

The Regional Secretariat of the has called on political parties in the region to prioritize peace and tranquility in their political activities leading up to the 2024 general election.

The council emphasized that the stability of the country is essential for cohesive development, urging political actors to act in the supreme interest of peace and unity.

Most Reverend Samuel Nkuah Boateng, the Chairman of the Regional Peace Council, conveyed this message in an interview with the at Sefwi-Wiawso in the region.

While commending political parties for their conduct in previous elections, he urged them to continue exhibiting responsible behavior this year.

“Residents of the Western North Region who are mostly Sefwi, Anyin, and Brosa are brothers and sisters and co-exist peacefully as one people. This is the surest way to go,” Most Rev. Boateng remarked.

He encouraged residents to let the love of God guide them and be each other's keepers to receive divine grace.
