Zenith Bank (Ghana) Limited has inaugurated its 41st branch in Madina, one of Accra's busiest districts, showcasing the bank's commitment to enhancing accessibility and reaching diverse communities.
During the ribbon-cutting ceremony held on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, Mr. Henry Onwuzurigbo, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Zenith Bank, emphasized the institution's consistent expansion since its establishment in 2005.
He stated, “From a branch network of one in September 2005, Zenith Bank Ghana today has 41 business locations across the country.”
Highlighting the bank's dedication to innovation, Mr. Onwuzurigbo expressed, “As a Bank, we look out for ways and innovations to make the businesses of our customers even easier and better with our tailor-made products and services.”
He underlined the bank's primary goal of meeting the financial needs of customers and fostering meaningful relationships and partnerships with the people of Madina and its environs.
Mr. Onwuzurigbo assured customers of Zenith Bank's commitment to their success through technology, a dedicated workforce, and customized products like the Zenith SME Account and Zenith SME Business Card.
Rev. Maxwell Obeng, the Reverend Minister of the Bethany Methodist Church, encouraged bank staff to work wholeheartedly, be good representatives of God and the Zenith brand, and maintain a customer-oriented and empathetic approach.
ASP Precious Agbernowu of the Madina District Police Command emphasized the shared responsibility of security and urged staff to remain vigilant and security-conscious.
Maame Dufie Duah, the Zenith Bank Madina Branch Manager, expressed appreciation for the success of the branch opening and assured customers of an exceptional banking experience.
The ceremony, attended by special guests, community leaders, and Zenith Bank management staff, marked the bank's continued expansion in Ghana.
