Ms. Tilda Elinam Acorlor, a dedicated staff member of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation in the , has been elected as an Executive Committee member of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG).

Miss Acorlor, renowned for her contributions as a sports broadcaster, speaker, and media personality, is a three-time recipient of the GJA-Volta Chapter award in the sports category, receiving back-to-back accolades since the award's inception in 2017.

Following the elections, Miss Acorlor shared her enthusiasm and gratitude with the , acknowledging the electorate's trust in her.

She said, “Thank you for your confidence in me, I do not take it for granted, it is very big in my eyes, and I am humbly grateful. In a world where every individual's voice matters, the delegates showed love through votes as a sign of belief in my ability to make an impact.”

Miss Acorlor's dedication to the sports industry extends beyond her media career. She operates a service agency named “Awo Kotoka,” specializing in sports events and mentorship, and has introduced the Night Street Soccer League in the Municipality.

She is a sports journalist passionate about the success of young individuals, particularly women and girls. She stated, “I want to be remembered as a human being who has impacted many lives with a large and compassionate heart.”

The newly elected SWAG Executive Committee members include Mr. Kwabena Yeboah as SWAG President, Evelyn Nsiah Asare as Vice President, Charles Osei Asibey as General Secretary, and Kenneth Obeng Adade as Vice General Secretary.

Owuraku Nsia and Mavis Amanor were elected as Treasurer and Women's Commissioner, respectively, with Franklin Anane Gyimah and Bampoe Brenya serving as other executive members. They will assume their roles within the Association for the next four years.
