The () and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) have commenced “concurrent inquiries” into the activities of Madam , a former Minister for , and her associates.

The focus of these investigations is primarily on examining their assets and financial transactions within the of America.

The collaborative effort is aimed at determining the legality of Madam Dapaah and her associates' wealth, particularly in the context of their funds transitioning between Ghana and the .

This development comes after the charged Madam Dapaah for failing to declare her income and property.

The OSP claimed she had not responded to a notice served on July 24, 2023, which required her to declare her property within 30 days, as stipulated in the OSP Act.

Failure to do so is considered a contravention of the OSP Act and subjects her to potential punishment.

In response, Madam Dapaah's legal team has filed an injunction against the OSP, citing concerns about potential irreparable damage to her if the investigation proceeds.

The OSP initiated investigations into suspected and -related offenses involving Madam Dapaah on July 20, 2023.

These investigations pertain to substantial cash sums reportedly stolen from her house.

The concurrent inquiries led by the OSP and FBI represent a significant development in the ongoing legal proceedings involving the former Minister.
